Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has come out to respond to speculation his club could try to sign Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Barcelona does not see such a signing as necessary right now because it could even distort what the club is building at the moment.

Laporta added that the club currently has a balanced team that is filled with several world-class players.
His words, “It’s just that we don’t see it as necessary. There will be some tweaks.
I do not see it necessary to make an investment that could distort what we are building, which is a balanced team. Next year we will have Gavi again, which gives energy. Pedri and Frenkie are world-class players like all the ones we have.”
