Henry Downplays Ronaldo’s Greatness – Rio Ferdinand

France legend, Thierry Henry downplays the legend of Cristiano Ronaldo as a footballer, Rio Ferdinand has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he recalls Henry slapping Ronaldo on the back of his head during an altercation in a MUFC vs Arsenal game, and he believes that is the reason the Frenchman does not rate the Portuguese forward many years later.

Ferdinand added that Thierry does not talk about Cristiano with any sort of spark, and that downplays his greatness.

His words, “There’s beef there somewhere you know. It’s cause of the name. I think because of the name, as if he says, ‘You took my name,’ so I have a problem with you.
It’s the same with Thierry [Henry]. Thierry is the same. The way I see Thierry talk about Cristiano, it’s more what he doesn’t say. He doesn’t talk about him with any zest or spark. It’s like he’s downplaying Cristiano a lot.
